BluejayBlog provides educational content focused on sexual health and intimate relationship education.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “T&C”, or “Agreement”) govern your access to and use of the Website, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through the Website.
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE ACCESSING OR USING THE WEBSITE.
By accessing, browsing, or using the Website in any way — including but not limited to reading articles, posting comments, clicking on links, sharing content via social media, or submitting information through any channel on the Website — you acknowledge that:
- You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions;
- You have read and understood our Disclaimer ↗ and Privacy Policy ↗, which are incorporated herein by reference;
- You are at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction (see Section 3 below);
- Your access and use of the Website complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
If you do not agree to any of these Terms, or if you are under 18 years of age, you must immediately stop accessing and using the Website.
2. Nature of the Website — Educational Content Only#
BluejayBlog is a personal educational blog, not a medical clinic, therapy practice, pharmacy, or healthcare institution.
As detailed in our Disclaimer ↗:
All content published on BluejayBlog is provided solely for general educational and informational purposes. It does not constitute medical advice, psychological therapy, relationship counseling, legal advice, or any form of professional service. No doctor-patient or professional-client relationship is created by your use of the Website.
This clause is fundamental to the Website. If you need personalized health or relationship guidance, please consult a qualified, licensed professional in your jurisdiction.
3. Age Restriction — Adult Audience Only (18+)#
3.1 Minimum Age Requirement#
BluejayBlog contains frank, educational discussions about sexual health, human anatomy, intimacy, relationships, and related adult topics.
The Website is intended for use by ADULTS ONLY. You must be at least 18 YEARS OF AGE (or the age of majority in your country/jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to access or use this Website.
3.2 Confirmation by Use#
By accessing or using BluejayBlog, you confirm and represent that:
- You are 18 years of age or older;
- If you are accessing the Website from a jurisdiction with a higher age of majority for adult content, you have reached that age;
- Your use of the Website is lawful in the jurisdiction from which you are accessing it;
- You will not allow any person under the applicable minimum age to access the Website through your account, device, or internet connection.
3.3 Responsibility of Parents and Guardians#
Parents, legal guardians, and caregivers are responsible for supervising the online activities of minors in their care. We encourage the use of parental control tools and internet filtering software to help prevent minors from accessing age-inappropriate material online.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under your care has accessed BluejayBlog, please take appropriate action to restrict access and contact us if you need assistance at [email protected].
4. Intellectual Property Rights#
All content, materials, and intellectual property on BluejayBlog are owned by or licensed to us. This includes, without limitation:
- Articles, essays, guides, checklists, and written commentary;
- Original illustrations, infographics, diagrams, and photography;
- Custom logos, design elements, trademarks, and the “BluejayBlog” and “Blue Jay” brand names;
- Source code, software, scripts, and database configurations used to run the Website;
- Curated selections and arrangements of content.
For full details on permitted and prohibited uses of our content, please see our Copyright Notice ↗. You are granted a limited, personal, non-commercial license to view the Website for educational purposes. All other rights are reserved.
5. Permitted Use and Prohibited Conduct#
5.1 Permitted Use#
You may use BluejayBlog for its intended purpose: reading, learning from, and privately sharing educational content about sexual health and intimate relationships, in compliance with these Terms.
5.2 Prohibited Conduct#
In connection with your use of the Website, you agree NOT to:
🔴 Illegal, Harmful, or Abusive Behavior#
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law, statute, regulation, treaty, or ordinance — including, but not limited to, laws governing:
- Access to adult or sexual health content in your jurisdiction;
- Privacy, data protection, and defamation;
- Copyright, trademark, and intellectual property;
- Cybercrime, hacking, and computer fraud.
- Engage in harassment, bullying, hate speech, discrimination, or abuse of any person or group based on gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, age, disability, relationship status, or any other protected characteristic.
- Post, transmit, or encourage content that is physically or psychologically harmful to minors, promotes non-consensual sexual activity, depicts or endorses sexual violence, or exploits vulnerable persons in any way.
- Threaten, stalk, intimidate, or invade the privacy of the Author (Blue Jay), other readers, or any third party.
🔴 Content and Copyright Violations#
- Republish, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit BluejayBlog content in violation of our Copyright Notice ↗.
- Submit comments, links, or content that infringes on the copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy right, publicity right, or any other intellectual property or personal right of any third party.
- Submit false, misleading, deceptive, or impersonating content in comments or communications (e.g., pretending to be another person, misrepresenting your identity or affiliation).
🔴 Technical and Security Violations#
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website’s server infrastructure, databases, administrator accounts, comment moderation systems, or any restricted areas.
- Introduce or transmit viruses, malware, ransomware, spyware, trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, time bombs, or any other harmful or malicious code or software designed to disrupt, damage, or compromise the functionality or security of the Website or any user’s device.
- Engage in denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, automated scraping, spidering, or crawling of the Website at a scale that burdens or impairs its operation.
- Interfere with or disrupt the normal functioning of the Website, including overloading servers, bypassing access controls, or exploiting vulnerabilities.
- Use the Website’s contact information or comment functionality to send unsolicited commercial messages, spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or phishing attempts.
🔴 Unsuitable Content for the Community#
- Post pornographic, sexually explicit, or prurient images, videos, or links in comments or user-submitted content. (BluejayBlog publishes educational, non-explicit content only; user contributions must respect this tone.)
- Post or link to content that promotes unsafe sexual practices, dangerous products, pseudoscientific medical claims, or unproven treatments for sexual health conditions without credible scientific backing.
- Use the Website for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent — including, but not limited to, advertising paid services, selling products, promoting affiliate schemes, recruiting clients, or soliciting donations.
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to terminate your access to the Website and remove any content you submit, for actual or suspected violation of any of the above prohibitions, or for any other reason.
6. User Comments and Community Guidelines#
BluejayBlog allows registered or guest visitors to post comments on articles (“User-Generated Content” or “UGC”). We believe comments can enrich discussions and foster a respectful learning community.
6.1 Community Guidelines#
All comments must comply with the following guidelines. We ask you to comment like you would in a respectful, adult classroom or workshop:
✅ Do:
- Share thoughtful, constructive perspectives that add value to the conversation.
- Disagree politely and respectfully with others, including the Author.
- Share credible sources when presenting factual claims.
- Respect the privacy and dignity of all people discussed (including yourself — do not overshare sensitive personal details).
- Use inclusive, non-judgmental language.
❌ Do Not:
- Make personal attacks, insults, ad hominem arguments, or flame-bait comments against the Author, other readers, or groups.
- Use slurs, derogatory terms, or dehumanizing language about any group or individual.
- Share explicit sexual stories, pornography links, or erotica — this is an educational space, not an adult content platform.
- Shame, stigmatize, or moralize against individuals based on their sexual orientation, relationship style (monogamous, consensually non-monogamous, etc.), preferences, or health status.
- Post or promote medical misinformation, unsafe health practices, or unproven “cures” or “treatments.”
- Spam or self-promote: Do not drop links to your own blog, product, course, or service unless specifically and directly relevant to the discussion, and never without context.
- Dox or reveal personal information of any person — including yourself, other commenters, or individuals mentioned in articles.
6.2 Our Right to Moderate#
We reserve the right (but not the obligation) to:
- Moderate, edit, redact, or remove comments at our sole discretion, with or without notice and with or without reason;
- Approve or reject comments before they appear publicly (if our comment system requires pre-moderation);
- Restrict, block, ban, or shadow-ban users who repeatedly violate these Guidelines or Terms;
- Report illegal or harmful content to the appropriate authorities if necessary.
We are a one-person operation, and moderation is a volunteer effort. We cannot promise that every comment will be reviewed immediately, or that the moderation decisions will always align with every reader’s expectations. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
6.3 License to Display Your Comments#
By submitting a comment to BluejayBlog, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicenseable, and transferable license to use, host, store, reproduce, display, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and create derivative works of your comment content.
This license enables us to:
- Display your comment on the relevant article and throughout the Website;
- Edit comment formatting, fix typos, or redact sensitive personal information you may have shared;
- Include excerpts from comments in blog recaps, “best of” posts, social media highlights, newsletters, or related materials (always anonymized where appropriate unless you give explicit consent to use your name);
- Remove or modify comments at any time at our discretion.
You retain ownership of the copyright to your own comment, subject to this license.
6.4 No Endorsement#
The views and opinions expressed in user comments are solely those of the individual commenter. They do not reflect the views, opinions, or positions of Blue Jay / BluejayBlog. We do not endorse, verify, or vouch for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any comment posted by a third party.
7. Disclaimers of Warranties#
BluejayBlog is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement;
- Warranties that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components;
- Warranties that the Website or its content will be accurate, complete, reliable, current, or appropriate for your individual needs;
- Warranties regarding the quality, safety, effectiveness, or legality of any third-party products, services, websites, or resources mentioned, linked, or referenced on the Website.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or limitations on how long an implied warranty may last, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.
8. Limitation of Liability#
8.1 Exclusion of Damages#
To the maximum extent permitted by law in the UAE, your home jurisdiction, and any applicable jurisdiction, Blue Jay / BluejayBlog shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in any way connected with:
- Your use of, or inability to use, the Website or its content — including any reliance on information in articles, guides, illustrations, or comments;
- Any decisions you make regarding your sexual health, medical treatment, contraception, relationships, or lifestyle, based on content found on the Website;
- Any physical, emotional, psychological, financial, or social harm, injury, or loss resulting from the use or misuse of information on the Website;
- The conduct or content of any third party, including user comments, external websites, products, or services accessed via links on the Website;
- Any security incident, data breach, technical failure, downtime, outage, or unavailability of the Website;
- Any errors, omissions, inaccuracies, or outdated information in articles or third-party content on the Website;
- Any matter related to the Disclaimer, Privacy Policy, or other incorporated policies.
8.2 Maximum Liability Cap#
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in these Terms, in the event that Blue Jay / BluejayBlog is found liable for any damages or losses despite the above limitations, our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims, losses, causes of action, or damages shall not exceed the greater of:
- USD 100.00 (One Hundred United States Dollars), or
- The total amount, if any, you have paid to us (directly or indirectly) for access to or use of the Website in the 12 months preceding the claim.
BluejayBlog is a free-to-access personal educational blog with no paid memberships or products. For the vast majority of readers, no payment has been made, and accordingly, the liability cap reflects this reality.
8.3 Applicability#
The limitations and exclusions in this Section 8 apply regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise), even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
9. Indemnification#
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Blue Jay (the Operator of BluejayBlog), as well as any contractors, agents, affiliates, or service providers working with us, from and against any and all claims, causes of action, lawsuits, proceedings, complaints, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use of the Website or any content, information, or resources obtained through the Website;
- Your violation of these Terms and Conditions, the Disclaimer, the Privacy Policy, the Copyright Notice, or any applicable law or regulation;
- Your User-Generated Content (comments, submissions, messages) — including any third-party claims that such content infringes their rights, defames them, violates their privacy, or causes them harm;
- Your violation of the rights of any third party, including intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or contractual rights;
- Any negligent, intentional, or wrongful act or omission by you or anyone acting on your behalf.
We reserve the right, at our own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you. In that case, you agree to cooperate with us in asserting any available defenses.
10. External Links and Third-Party Content#
BluejayBlog provides hyperlinks to external websites, resources, research papers, products, apps, services, and social media platforms (“Third-Party Content”) as a convenience to readers.
- We are not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way connected with most of these external websites or operators, unless explicitly stated.
- We do not endorse, sponsor, recommend, or verify the accuracy, safety, or reliability of any Third-Party Content.
- You access and use all Third-Party Content at your own risk, and subject to the terms, conditions, and privacy policies of the respective third-party operator.
- BluejayBlog shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of any Third-Party Content or external website.
If we publish a sponsored post, paid review, or affiliate link, this relationship will be clearly disclosed at the top of the relevant article in accordance with FTC Guidelines and comparable UAE advertising disclosure standards.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction#
11.1 Governing Law#
These Terms and Conditions, and all matters relating to your access to or use of the Website, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the UNITED ARAB EMIRATES (UAE), without regard to any conflict of laws principles that would require the application of the laws of another jurisdiction.
11.2 Jurisdiction and Venue#
Any legal action, suit, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions or your use of BluejayBlog shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts located in the United Arab Emirates. You consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts and waive any objection to the laying of venue in such courts or to any claim that the proceeding has been brought in an inconvenient forum.
Notwithstanding the above, BluejayBlog reserves the right to seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the unauthorized use, reproduction, or infringement of our intellectual property rights, or to protect the security or integrity of the Website.
11.3 Local Laws Compliance#
We make no representation that the content on BluejayBlog is appropriate, lawful, or available for use in all countries or jurisdictions. Access to the Website may not be legal in certain jurisdictions, particularly those with strict restrictions on sexual health content.
It is your sole responsibility to ensure that your use of the Website complies with all local laws in your jurisdiction.
12. International Use#
BluejayBlog is operated from the UAE and is intended for a global audience. However:
- We make no representation that the Website’s content is suitable or allowed for all geographic locations;
- The Website may not be available in all countries, and access may be blocked by national firewalls or content restrictions;
- Content references and advice are general in nature and may not account for local medical practices, product availability, or cultural norms;
- Any offer of information, products, or services discussed on the Website is void where prohibited.
13. Termination of Access#
13.1 Termination by Us#
We reserve the right, in our sole and absolute discretion, to restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to all or part of the Website, with or without notice and with or without cause, including but not limited to:
- Actual or suspected violation of these Terms and Conditions, the Disclaimer, the Privacy Policy, or the Copyright Notice;
- Harmful or illegal activity that threatens the Website, the Author, or other users;
- Requests by law enforcement or government authorities;
- Extended periods of inactivity;
- Technical or operational issues, including the discontinuation of the Website as a whole.
BluejayBlog is a personal project, and we may discontinue the Website (in part or in whole) at any time, for any reason, without liability or obligation to you.
13.2 Termination by You#
You may terminate your “use” of the Website at any time by simply ceasing to access it. There is no account or subscription to cancel.
13.3 Survival#
All clauses of these Terms and Conditions that by their nature should survive termination (including, without limitation, the Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Intellectual Property, and Governing Law sections) shall survive indefinitely.
14. Modifications to the Website and These Terms#
14.1 Changes to the Terms#
We may update, amend, or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time, in our sole discretion, for reasons including but not limited to:
- Reflecting changes to the Website’s features, functionality, or business model;
- Complying with new or updated laws, regulations, or regulatory guidance;

- Where reasonably practicable, provide notice on the Website’s homepage for a reasonable period of time (e.g., 30 days) to alert readers of significant changes.
Your continued access to or use of the Website after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for changes.
14.2 Changes to the Website#
We also reserve the right to:
- Modify, update, or discontinue any aspect, feature, or section of the Website at any time without notice;
- Impose limits on certain features or services, or restrict your access to parts or all of the Website without notice or liability.
15. Severability (Savings Clause)#
If any provision, clause, paragraph, or section of these Terms and Conditions is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, unenforceable, or contrary to law, such provision shall be:
- Reformed, construed, or limited to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable, or
- If reformation is not possible, severed and deleted from these Terms.
In either case, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect, and shall be construed so as to most nearly effect the original intent of the parties.
16. Entire Agreement#
These Terms and Conditions, together with our Disclaimer ↗, Privacy Policy ↗, and Copyright Notice ↗, constitute the entire agreement between you and Blue Jay regarding your use of BluejayBlog, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, negotiations, proposals, representations, understandings, and agreements, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter herein.
No employee, agent, contractor, or representative of BluejayBlog (other than Blue Jay) has the authority to vary these Terms, or to make any representation, warranty, or promise on our behalf that is not set forth in writing in these Terms.
17. Waiver#
No failure by Blue Jay to exercise or enforce any right or remedy under these Terms and Conditions shall operate as a waiver of such right or remedy. No single or partial exercise of any right or remedy shall preclude any other or further exercise of that or any other right or remedy.
A waiver of any provision of these Terms will be effective only if it is in writing and signed by Blue Jay.
18. Assignment#
These Terms and Conditions, and the rights and licenses granted hereunder, may not be assigned or transferred by you to any other person or entity without our prior written consent.
We may assign, transfer, sublicense, or delegate these Terms and any of our rights or obligations hereunder, in whole or in part, to any third party in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or other corporate change, or to any service provider or contractor assisting us in the operation of the Website.

- Headings (section titles) in these Terms are for convenience and reference only and do not define, limit, or affect the meaning or interpretation of any provision.
- The words “include,” “includes,” and “including” are deemed to be followed by the words “without limitation” unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.
